| EROL KOSAR, MD is a triple Diplomate with the American Board, and is board certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular diseases, and internal medicine, and is NASPExAM TESTAMUR Physician. Dr. Kosar received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1989, completed postgraduate education with an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh in 1992, and completed fellowship training in both cardiology and electrophysiology at the University of Southern California in 1997, and served as full- time assistant professor of medicine at USC. He is a Western regional trainer for Excimer laser lead extraction for Spectranetics, Inc. His research interests include cardiac resynchronization, sudden cardiac arrest, lead extraction, and atrial fibrillation. Dr. Kosar's publications appeared in Circulation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and Cardiac Electrophysiology Review.
